Annual Child and Baby Memorial Service to be held next month
The Spiritual and Pastoral Care team based at Watford General Hospital will be holding its annual Child and Baby Memorial Service at St Mary’s Church in Hemel Hempstead at 3pm on Sunday, October 12.
The service is for babies and children who have died before, during or after birth and anyone touched by such circumstances is welcome, whether it is a recent loss or some time ago.
The ceremony will be led by Rev Doug Loveridge, the hospital trusts Pastoral Care Manager, the Rev Jenny Hill, Vicar of St Mary’s, and Colette Lennon and George Ochola from the hospital trust’s Chaplaincy Team.
Remembrance candles will be lit and names of loved ones read out during the service, along with reflections of people’s experiences.
