Visitors to Chipperfield Horticultural Society's Autumn Show on Saturday enjoyed a vast array of colourful flowers and homemade goods despite the grey weather.
Members and visitors gathered at Chipperfield village hall where there were displays of delicious cakes and preserves, floral art exhibits and a junior section which included wooden spoon puppets and pictures of the four seasons.
Pauline Williams, of Chipperfield Horticultural Society, said: "The stars of the show were brilliant dahlias and chrysanthemums in all their amazing shapes and shades, tall elegant gladioli and late velvety roses.
"A feast to the eyes were the rows of beautiful vegetables in red, green, purple, orange, gold and white, freshly picked salad items and a harvest of apples, pears, grapes and raspberries, all grown and arranged with as much love and care as the flowers.
"Our exhibitors were joined by many visitors during the afternoon, enjoying the show and homemade teas with friends old and new.
"This is the last of this year's shows, but we look forward to welcoming everyone again to Chipperfield next March for the Spring Show."
