Pupils at Rudolf Steiner School in Kings Langley have been learning about renewable energy while having solar energy panels installed on buildings in the school campus.
The panels have been installed by Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE) which has signed up to the Co-operatives UK-organised Energy Mentoring programme.
Chris Triplett, from the school, said: "GUCE's first project was a 46kWp installation for our school that generates around one fifth of the main school buildings’ electricity consumption."
