A man received a nasty head wound after being chased by four men in Carpenders Park on Sunday.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said that the man, believed to be his 30s, was allegedly assaulted in Delta Gain at about 12.50am on Sunday, September 21.

Officers said that the man suffered a head wound after he was chased and assaulted by a group of four men.

PC Mark Walsh, who is investigating the incident, said: "The victim suffered a nasty head wound which required nine stitches.

"There was a large group of teenagers in the area at the time of the incident and I would appeal for anyone who saw what happened to get in contact with me. I would also like to hear from anyone else who may have information about what happened."
