A nurse at Spire Bushey Hospital has cut seven inches off her hair to raise money for charity.
Mussarat Iqbal raised nearly £600 for the children's charity, Little Princess Trust. The charity provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children suffering hair loss, and Mussarat will also be donating her cut hair to them.
This is not the first event time Mussarat has done something for a charity. She regularly held events with her local church, but was inspired to raise money for a children's charity after losing her nephew in May this year.
In July, she held a cake sale with her colleague, Sister Kelly Barnes, and raised nearly £180.
Mussarat said: "I just wanted to say a big thank you again to everyone who has supported me with the cake sale and with sponsoring me and donating money to such a worthwhile charity."
