The A412 in Watford was closed after a beige Skoda Octavia collided with a crash barrier earlier this morning.
Police and paramedics were called about 9.42am after reports of a car colliding with a crash barrier on the A412 Rickmansworth Road, near Watford Grammar School for Boys.
Hertfordshire Constabulary recovered the vehicle and the elderly woman who was involved in the crash is not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
Hertfordshire County Council’s Highways department has been made aware of the incident due to the damage that has been done to the barrier.
The road is now open.
