A man has embarked on a desperate quest to find his long lost brother in Watford after suffering his fifth life-threatening heart attack.

Philip Brown, 62, lost touch with his big brother Thomas ‘Tommy’ Cook 30 years ago and after becoming seriously ill said all he wants is to see him again.

The last Philip knew Tommy, who will now be 70, was living in Rickmansworth Road.

Philip said he has tried everything to find Tommy, including going on the Jeremy Kyle show.

Now he thinks his "last hope" is to appeal to anyone who might have known his brother for help.

Philip said: "When my mother passed away, my brother moved.

"He got married, had kids and then got divorced. We were in contact for a long time.

"Then I moved and Tommy moved and just like that I lost my brother.

"I have tried everything from family traces to the Jeremy Kyle show and nothing.

"I have had five heart attacks this all has scared me enough to realise the reality - I’m 62 my brother will be 70 and I need to find him."

The brothers, who were born in Lockerbie, Scotland, have been separated for 30 years now and Philip feels time is running out to reunite.

Philip only has one picture of the two of them.

Tommy had four daughters, Catherine, Wendy, Jenny and Victoria, but doesn’t know their married surnames.

Philip continued: "I haven't seen him in nearly 30 odd years and we are not young any more. If my brother is alive I need to live each day I have left with him.

"I know my brother’s last address was Rickmansworth Road.

"If Tommy's alive, his kids or he will still be in the Watford area.

"I’m appealing to Tommy, his kids, his ex wife - anyone who may know him.

"I am in ill health and can’t lose more days with him.

"I ache everyday to see him. This is my last hope that after 30 odd years I’ll be reunited with my big brother."
