The 75th anniversary of Watford Citizens Advice Bureau was marked at the organisation's annual meeting on tuesday afternoon.
During the meeting it was reported that the CAB received more than 13,500 inquiries last year, including about 6,500 inquiries related to debt and benefit, almost 1,600 on housing issues and a similar number on problems regarding employment.
During the past financial year, the CAB's staff and 28 volunteers received a total of 13,683 calls for advice. The time contributed by the organisation's team of volunteers amounts to a value of £209,515.
