A roller hockey club in Rickmansworth is celebrating after officially unveiling their new kit.

A donation from the North Watford Masonic Lodge and sponsorship from Cafe Amici, Baldwins Lane, has allowed Rickmansworth Roller Hockey Club to buy new shirts for their U11 and U15 teams.

Sue Dawkins, whose two girls are members of the club, said: "They have been so excited, constantly asking when we were going to get them."

"We feel we have come from nothing, with kids training in their own stuff to parents buying some kit.

"We are really really pleased.

"I know as parents, we are so proud of how far they have come in the last couple of years.

"When you look back you realise how far they have come."

Roller Hockey is a fast paced game of hockey, played on quad roller skates.

The teams, who train at the Princess Marina Sports Complex, at The Royal Masonic School for Girls, play in both the Southern and Eastern leagues.
