Police have released CCTV images of two men after a scissor lift worth more £17,000 was taken from Carpenders Park Station.

British Transport Police said two men started the engine of the lift, and left the station on it on Saturday, August 2.

Detective Constable Nick Thompson said: "Two men walked into Carpenders Park station, managing to start the engine of the scissor lift, before making off on it.

"The men abandoned the lift, valued at more than £17,000, a few hundred metres from the station, in Ralston Way.

"I want to find the two men in the photos. I believe they will have valuable information about this incident.

"If you were at Carpenders Park station that night in early August, or nearby, either know them, or know where we can find them, please contact BTP."
