Police are appealing for witnesses after a man broke into a house in High Wycombe.

At 5.24pm on Thursday, a man forced entry to the back of a house by using the footpath that runs along the back of Carrington Road, overlooking Cressex Business Centre.

The man is described as 5ft 5in to 5ft 7in tall, of medium build and between 20 and 25 years old. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top.

Thames Valley Police said nothing was taken.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been using that footpath at the time and saw anything suspicious.
