The Wycombe teenager who was arrested on suspicion of being involved in terrorist activity could remain in police custody for the next week.
Police investigating the alleged Islamic terrorism plot were granted seven more days to question the 19-year-old, named locally as Yousaf Syed, and three other men.
Mr Syed’s Desborough Avenue home was raided by armed officers on Thursday night.
He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the Commission, Preparation or Instigation of acts of Terrorism.
Metropolitan Police confirmed that a further detention order for all four men was granted this weekend, meaning Mr Syed could remain in police custody until next weekend.
The Wycombe teenager was the youngest of the four men to have been arrested on Thursday night and Friday morning.
A 22-year-old-man was also arrested at an address in Hounslow at 8.45pm on Thursday, while a 27-year-old man was arrested in a car in Southall slightly earlier at 8.31pm.
Another man, 25, was arrested at an address in Uxbridge at 2.55am on Friday.
They all remain in police custody.
