Update: All lanes have now been reopened
There are severe delays on the M1 southbound after a multi-vehicle crash this morning.
Lanes two and three (of three) were closed while recovery work takes place, and an oil spillage is cleaned up, between J5 A41 (Watford) and J4 A41 Edgware Way (Edgware).
Traffic has backed up to congestion to J10 M1 (Luton Airport Spur Road).
