North Watford's infamous Christmas house is back and set to be brighter than ever in a new festive display requiring a record 115 plugs.

The home of Jane and Paul Ellis in Summerfield Road has wowed passers-by for the past 12 Christmasses as the couple create an extreme light display each year to raise money for charity.

This year all money raised will go to Peace Hospice Care in Watford, in the past they have given to the British Heart Foundation, Help for Heroes, Asbestosis Reseach, Keech Cottage and Jake's Dream Fund.

So far the displays have raised about £8,000 for the charities.

This year's lights will be switched on at 7pm on Saturday, November 29.
