Police are hunting for a man after a woman was inappropriately touched in South Oxhey.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said a woman, who is in her 30s, was walking along Little Oxhey Lane at about 8pm on Saturday when a man approached her and inappropriately touched her.

Officers said she managed to get away from the man, but was left shaken by what had happened.

A police helicopter and a dog unit was sent to try and catch the man, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Officers said the man is described as being aged between 30 and 40, of thin build and around 5ft 10ins tall. 

He was wearing a black jacket which had a big collar. He was also wearing gloves and white trainers. His face was covered.
