The Watford Health Campus scheme passed another stage in the application process tonight after councillors approved a second outline plan.
The first application, which includes 681 new homes, space for regeneration of Watford General Hospital, retail units and safeguarding land for the expansion of Laurance Haines primary school, was initially brought before Watford Borough Council’s development committee in September.
Tonight councillors were assured the applicant would make financial contributions of £4million towards County Council community costs.
