A giant, a dragon and an English knight will all do battle in Croxley Green on Sunday as a group of amateur actors perform the story of St George for the 21st year.

Croxley Mummers, who tell the story of St George and how he defeated the dragon, will be performing at seven locations in the area on Sunday afternoon.

The first performance will be at the All Saints Church, The Green, at 11.45am before the group move on to Dickinson Square at 12pm.

There will also be performances at The Red House, Watford Road at 12.30pm, The Fox and Hounds, New Road, at 1pm, The Coach and Horses, The Green at 1.45pm, The Artichoke, The Green at 2.15pm and the final performance will be at The Sportsman in Scots Hill at 3pm.

All proceeds will go towards the Peace Hospice.
