The award winning Bushey care home for the elderly, Faithfield, hosted a special Christmas event on Wednesday, December 17.
The event, featured performances from South Oxhey Choir, a group made famous from Gareth Malone's BBC Series The Choir: Unsung Town. Their performance had a memories of the First World War theme.
Team Leader Jeanette Kelsey said: "More than 40 people attended the South Oxhey choir performance including tenants, their families and friends, and members of the community.
"One of our tenants, Megan Gibson, read aloud an excerpt from the nativity story followed by carols and hymns performed by South Oxhey choir with an emphasis on stories from the wartime.
"The event was a wonderful way to end a fantastic year, a year made even more special our bronze award win at the EAC Housing for Older People’s Awards. The turnout showed the goodwill that tenants and the community have for our housing scheme."
