The first Watford Palace Theatre plaque has been unveiled in honour of Ian Scleater, who helped raise more than £1 million for theatre refurbishments.
Mr Scleater, who has also penned a book on the Palace, has devoted years to fundraising for the theatre.
Pictured are Elected Mayor of Watford, Dorothy Thornhill, the Palace's artistic director, Brigid Lamour, and Mr Scleater with the blue plaque, given in recognition of his outstanding efforts.
