Customers at Watford HomeSense have raised more than £3,600 for a Rickmansworth service for disabled children and young people, run by the charity Action for Children.
Throughout December customers at the homeware store at Century Retail Park were able to buy a Christmas bauble for £1, on which they could write a festive message or their happiest childhood Christmas memory before hanging it on a special HomeSense Christmas tree in the store.
All proceeds from the bauble donations will go to Action for Children’s West Hyde Short Breaks service which provides short breaks to children with special needs through after-school and holiday clubs.
