Planned road works mean that Theobald Street in Radlett, may be closed until February.

The work, which is carried out by Affinity Water, started on January 19 and are part of an on-going investment programme to upgrade the network in the area to ensure residents continue to have a high quality supply of water.

Nigel Beaven, spokesperson for Affinity Water said: "We are working closely with the local Highways Authority to keep disruption to a minimum and ensure that safety of commuters and our technicians working to install the new water mains.

"There works are progressing as planned and it is anticipated that the works will be finished and the road will be re-opened before February 1. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing and thank our customers for their patience whilst we carry out this essential work."
