A Northwood-based hospice is set to benefit from a £25,000 cash boost after announcing a new partnership with a major Uxbridge shopping centre.
Intu Uxbridge has pledged £25,000 to sponsor a nurse at the Michael Sobell Hospice, Rickmansworth Road.
A launch event is being held at the hospice on Saturday, January 24 and Helen Elliot, chief executive of Michael Sobell Hospice will give a talk about the work of the hospice.
The launch will also see pin badges, which represent a butterfly from the centre’s butterfly installation, go on sale for a minimum £1 donation which will go towards fundraising for the hospice.
