Volunteers and staff from Peace Hospice Care enjoyed a slice of the action at Watford FC’s thrilling 7-2 win over Blackpool on Saturday thanks to a Watford pizza company.

Dominos donated a hospitality package to the hospice as a thank you for all the work it does.

The gift gave the hospice team a chance to soak up the atmosphere, tuck into a three course meal, tour the dressing room and meet some of the players. Four of them also had a pre kick off photo taken with the team captains and referees.

Peace Hospice Care Corporate Fundraising Manager, Vicky Luk said: "We thank Dominos for this opportunity to give our staff and volunteers a great day out and we thank Watford Football Club and the fans for making everyone so welcome.

"The fans showed their support for the Hospice by the volume of cheers when our group members were welcomed onto the pitch for a match photo.

"We appreciate this warm welcome and the chance of a lifetime to see such a great win at Vicarage Road."
