A yellow weather warning of ice is in force for Hertfordshire.
Icy stretches can be expected to form between 4pm today and 11am on Saturday, January 31, and the public should be aware of the risk of difficult driving conditions.
Saturday, January 31 will be cold with many parts turning dry with sunny spells.
The Met Office has also issued yellow warnings of cold weather for Sunday, February 1 and the beginning of next week.
