A warning has been issued to all dog walkers in the Kings Langley area by Kings Langley Parish Council.
A message was posted around the village this week making dog walkers aware of an incident, which happened on Tuesday, February 3, when a dog became severely ill after coming into contact with chemical waste which had been dumped along the canal towpath from Toovey's Mill towards Red Lion Lane.
Paul Dunham, Clerk to Kings Langley Parish Council, said the dog owner contacted the council the following day, and after helping her, with who she needed to contact, decided to put up a sign and spread the message to warn others.
