Watford’s Parade and market is to be turned into a romantic foodie haven to celebrate Valentine’s Day as part of the Big Events series.
On Friday, February 13, from 5pm to 8pm, the New Watford Market will be open for dinner and drinks, with entertainment provided by an opera singer and a rat pack performer in the upstairs food court.
Downstairs people can get a glass of Prosecco from a vintage Citroen van or a small gift for loved ones.
On Saturday, February 14, from 9am to 5pm, New Watford Market will spill onto The Parade with food and gift stalls, while pop-up performances, including Latin dancing, poetry and music, will take place throughout the day.
Elected Mayor Dorothy Thornhill said: "The Big Events series has been a great success and I can’t think of a better way to round up the first series of events than with this celebration at Watford’s wonderful New Market."
