Vehicles belonging to the same person have been set on fire in what police believe is a string of arson attacks in Croxley Green.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has been called to the same property, in Hazelwood Road, on four occasions in the last year.
Officers were first called to the address in February 2014, but were called again in November, December and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue was called out again to reports of a small car fire on Sunday morning.
However, Simon Hoggett, spokesman for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed no fire-fighting was needed because the fire was already out when the crew from Rickmansworth attended.
The owner of the vehicle has offered a £500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Constable Adam Bridges via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101. Alternatively people can call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
- A 48-year-old man from Northwood has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with an incident on December 21 and he has been released on bail until Friday.
