The Liberal Democrats have selected Nigel Quinton to be their parliamentary candidate for South West Hertfordshire.
Mr Quinton, who also ran for Parliament in Hitchen and Harpenden in 2010, where he came second, was chosen to fight for the constituency at a Lib Dem hustings last night.
The Liberal Democrat joins UKIP’s Mark Anderson and Labour’s Simon Diggins in the fight for the seat, which is currently held by David Gauke.
Mr Gauke has held the seat since 2005 and in the 2010 General Election, increeased his majority increased from 46.9 per cent to 54.2 per cent.
