The Valentine’s Day festivities were in full swing today in Watford town centre with shoppers treated to a number of pop-up love-themed performing arts in The Parade and New Watford Market.
Among the performances was a jive act by JiveSwing, Valentine’s Victorian music hall with Christopher Lawley, Gospel Manna singing love-themed songs, love poetry by the Watford Writers Group and Rat Pack classics by Simon Lawrence.
In addition shoppers could have a go themselves with a modern Jive workshop put on by Ceroc London and a public tango lesson with Tango Passion – who also hosted a free tango dance in The Parade.
