Watford FC’s Community Trust is calling on people to join in its three big fundraising challenges of 2015.

This year the trust is looking for participants to join in a sponsored bike ride around Paris between June 26 and 28.

It also plans to bring back the London Nightrider event, this year offering a shorter route option of 60km, an amended route overall and a new start – Lee Valley VeloPark in the Olympic Park (East London) replacing Alexandra Palace. Riders will set off on Saturday, June 6, at 10pm.

The 100km moonlit ride passes London’s iconic landmarks, including Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Piccadilly Circus, the London Eye and the crossing on Abbey Road.

The third challenge will be ‘Survival of the Fittest’ – a 10km run through gruelling obstacle zones. Men, women, teams and solo contenders, can take part with the event to be held on Saturday, November 21.

For 2015 the trust has partnered with charity DRUM (Disability Recreation Unity Movement), which provides day services and support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities in south west Hertfordshire. Money raised will be split 50/50 between the trust and DRUM.
