The Great Fire of London was recreated at a Watford primary last week.
Pupils at Kingsway Infant School, in North Approach, made houses out of cardboard boxes which were lined up and dramatically set alight in the school's playground.
The demonstration helped show the children how the Great Fire spread easily through the streets of the capital.
The fire service attended to save the day and put out the blaze.
