A chance meeting at a birthday party brought together several people who used to live in the same street as children more than 40 years ago.
As a result, a reunion is planned for children who used to live in the Codicote Drive neighbourhood in Garston between 1965 and 1975.
The reunion is being organised by childhood friends Vaughan Rance and Sue King.
Vaughan said: "A couple of weeks after the party, about eight of us met up and listed all the kids we still had contact details for.
"Having contacted them, we were thrilled to hear that they are all to attend. Even at this early stage we estimate more than 25 people coming and the list grows daily."
The reunion will take place at The Unicorn pub in Gallows Hill, Kings Langley, at 7pm on Friday, March 27.
Sue said: "The evening is going to be a fairly informal affair and The Unicorn has great facilities and parking.
"This is not a ticket event but we would really like people to bring their old photos and memorabilia."
