Professional art demonstrations and workshops will be held in Watford Library on March 9 and 10.

The Society for All Artists (SAA) is offering people in Watford the chance to learn some of the skills that will be shown on the BBC One’s ‘Big Painting Challenge’ with an artist led free demonstration followed by a series of hands-on workshops.

The first day will include free demonstrations from the artist, where audiences can enjoy watching them go through the stages of painting, and during the second participants can have a go at painting at one of the one-hour practical workshops.

The demonstrations are free of charge and the workshops cost £10 per person, all materials will be provided including a mount for finished artwork.

To take part, people need to register ahead of the workshops and demonstrations by booking their place at saa.co.uk/roadshow.
