The Radlett Festival has been cancelled.
The popular festival is organised on a voluntary basis and there is no longer enough people to do all the work involved.
Clive Glover, one of the organisers, said: "We have had a number of people retire over the past year or so and we have found it impossible to get new people to replace them.
"The committee typically has around 12-15 people, who start organising the next festival from September the previous year and on the day, something like 40 people are needed to manage the event.
"If new people do come forward the festival could be resurrected but so far as I am aware, since the announcement it has been cancelled has not produced a queue of people volunteering to help."
