My First Story is a brand new writing competition for children aged five to seven.
The competition, which is tailored for Key Stage 1 children, is being run by Young Writers, who are inviting schools across the UK to submit their pupils' short stories.
Each story submitted will be read by the editorial team at Young Writers, and considered for a regional anthology. The best writer in each book will awarded a prize.
Entries can be submitted online or via post and the deadline for this is Friday, March 27.
