Soho drag queen to help pub celebrate anniversary
A Soho drag queen will help a Watford pub celebrate a year of it hosting a regular gay and lesbian event.
The Prince George pub will welcome Vicki Vivacious as its guest drag queen for the karaoke-filled gay and lesbian night on March 4.
The monthly event has raised almost £500 for charities Herts Pride and Herts Aids since it was launched a year ago.
Terry Rigg, landlord of the sports bar which changed its name from The Sycamore following the birth of Prince George, said Watford Mayor Dorothy Thornhill is also expected to attend the celebration.
