A couple from Chorleywood have appealed against a rejected planning application.
Mr and Mrs Hayter wanted to build a single storey side and rear extension, first floor rear extension and loft conversion including rear dormer at their Quickley Lane home.
Three Rivers District Council rejected the planning application, saying: “By virtue of its sitting, depth, height and the lower land level of the adjacent number 3 Fern Villas would result in an unduly prominent and un-neighbourly for of development detrimental to neighbouring residential amenity”.
But an appeal has now been lodged and the planning inspectorate is expected to take eight weeks to decide the appeal.
