A number of coins of a Turkish origin were stolen during a burglary in Abbots Langley.
The incident occurred between 12.30pm and 2.20pm on Tuesday, February 24.
The offender(s) forced entry through a window at the back of a house in the College Road area and stole jewellery and designer clothing as well as the coins.
Detective Constable Steve Mason said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered these coins for sale or if you’ve seen them for sale please contact me.
"I would also be keen to speak with anyone who has any information about suspicious activity in the area on that day."
