Patients at a Northwood hospice can enjoy their favourite films and television programmes after more than £3,000 was given to the hospice.
In-patients at Michael Sobell Hospice, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood can enjoy 20 new televisions with DVD players by their bedside thanks to a grant of £3,650 given by the Heathrow Communities Together Trust.
Funded as part of the trust’s Bringing Communities Together Project, hospice volunteers Mary Niven and Alan Jenkins made sure the whole grant donation was possible by researching costs and assembling television trolleys.
