A Watford youth football club based in Woodside were given coaching and tickets to the Hornets game on Saturday through Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust.
Watford Youth Sports FC, based at Woodside Playing Fields, were treated to the match day package, which inlcuded a training session and tickets to the Watford v Ipswich match at Vicarage Road on Saturday, March 21.
Youth Sports' Steve Brewer said 130 players from the club's U7 to U14 age groups, along with 90 parents, attended the day.
He said: "This was a fantastic opportunity for the coaches to observe their players being coached and pick up different ideas for their own coaching sessions.
"All feedback was positive - especially from the players who want to do it all over again. "It is through days like these, and through its sporting culture, that Watford Youth Sports is looking to inspire our young players to play their part and enjoy what sport can give them."
