The Green Party has finally announced its parliamentary candidate to stand in Watford for the General Election.
Aidan Cottrell-Boyce will go up against Conservative MP Richard Harrington, Watford Mayor and Liberal Democrat candidate Dorothy Thornhill, Labour councillor Matt Turmaine and UKIP’s Nick Lincoln on May 7.
The 27-year-old from Liverpool studied at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2009.
He taught at La Sainte Union School in Camden whilst working towards a Masters degree at the University of London.
He is in the process of researching a doctoral thesis at the Divinity faculty of the University of Cambridge.
He also teaches part time at Camden School for Girls in North London.
