A Bushey-based dance school celebrated 15 years by putting on performance for charity.

Vanessa Class School of Dance put on a song and dance show entitled A Touch of Class, last weekend at the Radlett Centre.

The show featured children from two-year-olds to 21-year-old adults and the money raised went to Fight for Life - a charity for terminally ill children.

They raised roughly £5,000 for Fight for Life and Britains Got Talent finalist, Molly Rainford, and Gogglebox star Nikki Tapper, made a trip to see the show and support the cause.

Over the last 15 years the dance school has raised £120,000 for the charity.

Ms Class, who trained as a dancer at Arts Educational School London, said: "It was absolutely fantastic. We sold out all ticket and people were fighting for seats, saying they will sit on the floor.

"We had some great feedback too. It was just unbelievable."

The dancer, who joined the Vienna Festival Ballet after getting her teaching qualifications, opened her first school in Harrow and Elstree more than 30 years ago. Since then she has expanded into Bushey and produced yearly shows.

She added: The shows are extremely professional and it is amazing how much talent the children have when they perform. The children sing some amazing songs, both from the theatre and pop, and the dances have fantastic choreography.

"It is a very family orientated show and each number is colourful, dynamic and exciting."
