A family from Bushey will be appearing in a brand new quiz show on sky1.

The show, titled Relatively Clever, will be aired on Friday, April 3 at 8pm and will feature the Ferro family, of School Lane.

It is part of sky1's new quiz strand that "pits families against each other" in a test of intelligence and general knowledge with the addition of family dynamics under the spotlight.

Catti Ferro, the mum, said: "When we applied, we did it for a laugh - as a family we always enjoyed watching such programmes, but didn't think we'd hear back.

"Then we were asked to go for an audition. I really messed up so did not think we would get in, but they liked us."

Co-host in The Great British Bake-off, Mel Giedroyc, will be hosting seven-part series that families at home will be able to play long to.

Mrs Ferro, 54, will be playing with her husband, Tony, 54, and her two children, Enrico, 15 and Giorgia, 13.

She added: "My daughter was hesitant at first about taking part, but she eventually came round. It was a really great experience for us all and we were nervous, but once you get into it, it's really fun.

"It's very different to when your sitting in front of your TV, when you're actually there, because of the nerves, I wasn't as quick as I wanted to be at times.

"We're looking forward to seeing it on TV, I know it's going to be very cringey."
