A Rickmansworth school governor is compiling a book detailing the last 50 years at the school, as it celebrates its 50 anniversary.
St John’s Catholic Primary School, in Berry Lane, is celebrating their 50 anniversary this year and to celebrate, the school has announced a logo designing competition, alongside a book commemorating the school's history.
The winning entry will then be used on school materials.
The school is also trying to track down former pupils, governors, parents, teachers and staff who were at the school in 1965.
Annette Naughton, one of the governors at the school, is putting together a booklet recounting the events of the school since it opened in 1965.
