DANNY INVINCIBILE has warned Kilmarnock they must get off to a winning start in the post-split fixtures this weekend to avoid being dragged into a relegation dogfight.

Jim Jefferies' side play Hamilton tomorrow and the Australian says a win is imperative. "Ideally, we want to get off to a good start after the split. We want to go to Hamilton and get a result," he said.

"We don't want to be looking over our shoulders and start playing pressure football.

"The split makes things interesting. St Mirren, Hamilton and ourselves are on the same points, Falkirk are slightly adrift, but if they put a run together, everyone gets pulled back in."
