A primary school in Watford has received an "egg-ceptional" donation this year for its Easter festivities from Clarendon Road-based business Elavon.

More than 300 chocolate eggs were donated to Central Primary School by the company for the school’s Easter egg hunt, will take place today in the nursery, Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms, as well as reception.

Head teacher John Mynott said: "At Central Primary, we aim to be a place of learning at the centre of our community, and we are truly grateful to have a community partner like Elavon to share in the joys of Easter for our pupils.

"Thanks to Elavon, the children will certainly get their share of chocolate eggs this year."

Donating eggs is only a part of Elavon’s commitment to the school. Through the year, a team of dedicated employees volunteer at Central Primary to provide support to students.

"Elavon has a long history of supporting our communities, and we take pride in helping the pupils at Central Primary thrive in their studies," said Andrew Key, president of Elavon.

"The school is near and dear to our hearts. Our employees jumped at the chance to provide as many eggs as they could."
