A stolen motorbike has been spotted in Watford and police believe it may have been sold on.

The distinctive bike – an orange KTM 200 EXC with a flame design down the side - was stolen from a garage in North Approach in Leavesden on January 24, 2011.

PC Mohamed Huzair, who is investigating, said: “The bike was originally customised by its owner and is therefore quite unique in appearance. A bike matching the description was spotted in Watford on Monday evening (March 30).

“I am keen to trace anyone who may have recently purchased a bike similar to the one pictured, in good faith, or who has any information about its whereabouts.”

Anyone who thinks they may have seen the bike, or who has any other information is asked to contact PC Huzair via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C4/11/169.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
