Watford FC legend Lloyd Doyley spoke to schoolchildren about racism last week.
The Hornets defender spoke to more than 100 school pupils at Vicarage Road on Wednesday, April 1 and the right-back took part a question and answer session with pupils.
The event was organised by Show Racism the Red Card- a campaign that uses top footballers to educate people against racism.
Year five and six pupils took part in an educational workshop delivered by the anti-racism campaign at Vicarage Road.
Former Charlton Athletic defender Osei Sankofa and Clint Easton, who used to play for Norwich City FC, lead discussions about racism and their role in helping to prevent it.
Ged Grebby, Chief Executive of Show Racism the Red Card said “The educational events with football clubs are one of the highlights of our work.
“We have a fantastic educational partnership with Hertfordshire County Council which has seen us deliver positive anti-racism messages to over 2,300 young people this year.”
