A novel experiment has been made by the Elstree Civil Defence Players for their forthcoming production of Warren Chetham Strode’s The Young Mrs Barrington.
Recordings have been made by the cast explaining the action of the drama.
An interesting experiment, it is believed to be the first time an amateur company has mad what may be termed a “trailer” of a play.
The recording was played over to the audience at each presentation of Kenneth Horne’s Love in a Mist recently performed by the company and very popular it proved.
