A Northwood-based hospice has appointed Lindsey Fealey as its new chief executive.
Fealey, who was born and educated in Rickmansworth, joined the Michael Sobell Hospice in Rickmansworth Road.
She joined from the Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury, where she was director of income generation and business development and was also head of fundraising before being promoted.
Ms Fealey has also worked in sales, marketing, exhibitions and event management at Interface Inc.
She said: “Having experienced family and friends who have benefited from hospice care, I appreciate just what a difference can be made to both patients and families at this difficult time.
“I am committed to ensuring that Michael Sobell Hospice continues to be the wonderful place that it is, with specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses.”
